Direct deposit is a fast, secure way to have your paycheck or retirement check automatically deposited into your NAE Federal Credit Union account. You won't have to wait in line on payday, and a portion of your paycheck can be automatically applied to your loan or deposited into your savings account.
How Direct Deposit Works
Your employer automatically sends your paycheck to NAE through an Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronic transfer. You will still receive a pay stub from your employer for your records.
You may receive your pay early. Some companies send your pay check electronically before your normal payday. If your direct deposit is received by NAE before your payday, funds may be available to you early.
Your paycheck can be split between your NAE accounts. You can have all of your paycheck deposited into your share account, or you can set up for part of your pay to be deposited into your savings and/or applied to your loan accounts. You won't have to transfer the money yourself.
How to Sign Up for Direct Deposit
Complete a Direct Deposit application available at any Credit Union branch or your employer's payroll office. List NAE Federal Credit Union as your financial institution and indicate your account number as the account you want your paycheck credited to. You will also need our Bank Routing Number (please call us for this information).
For Social Security or Federal benefit checks, visit www.GoDirect.org or stop by and inquire at any NAE branch location. The Go Direct program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve. Your benefits will be automatically deposited into your account on the same day every month.
