Wire Transfers

Wire transfer or credit transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer from one person or institution (entity) to another. A wire transfer can be made from one bank account to another bank account. Wire transfer systems are intended to provide more individualized or single payment transactions rather than bulk payment systems such as ACH (Automated Clearing House) or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

NAE Federal Credit Union offers domestic wire transfers for a nominal fee. Funds wired by 4 PM from NAE are typically available at the receiving institution that day (depending on the receiving institution's cut-off times).
